Organoleptic characteristics
Powerful, austere, elegant wine. Intense garnet in colour, the nose is fragrant with hints of roses, violets and rhubarb when young, evolving with age into spicy notes of black pepper and truffle. The taste is very powerful, balanced and with a very persistent finish.

Vinification method
Vinification is carried out in stainless steel tanks, using the 'emerged cap' system, and maceration of the marc lasts from 13 to 17 days. The fermentation temperature is controlled and maintained at around 28°-30° C. Malolactic fermentation takes place at the end of fermentation and after racking.
Ageing
Ageing lasts at least 24 months, of which at least 12 months in large Slavonian oak casks.
